Balling on a budget.....Don't just spent it, Invest in it....

" You have to save to invest and you have to invest to retired, We all need money to retired. Be smart, Don't just spent it, invest in it (your future)" Simple ~real talk~

I was born in a different country but left since I was a kid, American is I know how to be. Crazy ain't it, I never knew much about living in Laos. My family came here in the late 80's after three years of living in the state my parent bought us our first home, that is the American dream right?
My parent worked very hard to make that happen for us. Moving to America in 1987 with nothing at all but the clothes on our back and a very kind church that helped us adapt to the American culture. 1989 my family moved in our first home it was very nice because before we were living in a two bedroom apartment with six people and now we were living in a two story home with a four bedroom, two living room and a two car garage.
The American dream it is possible if you really work hard for it. I believe it because I am doing it and chasing my American dream. I bought my first home with my wife at 25 years of age and then we bought our second home at the ages of 27. Started my own clothing line at 31 and now is planning my next business project. Check my new project at my new blog @ http://foodtheesenceoflifeblogspot.com/ Learning how to live below our means, means you can save for the future that's what I mean by balling on a budget. I know it's not easy now a days when everyone wanting to look successful and people always making judgement about others.
I been living on my own for a long time now and with both my parent gone. I am 33 years old now. Don't get me wrong, I still feel young but I understand how old I am and will not live like I have no care in the world. I also have three kids and I still like having fun as much as the next person my age or younger but I understand that I have kids. It's kinda different when you have kids.
Balling on a budget is being able to get everything you want in life to make yourself comfortable and still have money save to invest to retired. Everybody wants to look like a baller now a days. I don't have  a luxury car, wear high end fashion brand or have a lot of bling but I'm happy with what I have.
Many people like to look like a baller but not to many have the money to back that up. I live with in my mean and is not worry about looking flashy. Live for today but plan for tomorrow. Simple.
